CORPORATE DISPUTES & INVESTIGATIONS
Florentina represents foreign and domestic companies, private equity and venture capital investors, family offices, financial institutions, executives, directors, and trustees in sophisticated commercial and corporate disputes. She handles matters involving alleged fraud, breach of contract, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder and corporate governance disputes, investment-related claims, financial product disputes, fiduciary duty claims, and business torts.
Florentina has substantial experience taking matters through litigation and arbitration, including developing case strategy, managing discovery, preparing witnesses, conducting and defending depositions, briefing dispositive motions, preparing for trial, and examining witnesses.
She also assists private funds, investors and family offices in responding to joint venture or shareholder demands, internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, and disputes involving portfolio assets or counterparties.
Florentina's approach is deliberately strategic and commercially focused. With expansive experience in business disputes, Florentina understands that litigation is rarely an isolated legal event for an investor or investment organization; it can affect the value of an asset, a financing relationship, a transaction, or an entire portfolio. Therefore, she works to understand the underlying business objective and develop a legal strategy around it.
